With a gate at a distance, you want to know not just whether it's open or closed, but who's standing in front of it. The iSmartGate Cam Outdoor adds live video to the iSmartGate app, right alongside gate control.
The weatherproof 2MP camera is designed for outdoor use at driveways, gates or fences and records events in a built-in calendar, so footage is easy to find at the moment of a gate action or motion detection. You can see at a glance who passed by or when a delivery took place.
Under the hood, the Cam Outdoor uses the same FHD Color CMOS image sensor (1920x1080, 2MP) as the Cam Indoor, with a 105° diagonal / 90° horizontal viewing angle, in an IP66 waterproof housing rated for temperatures from -20°C to +60°C. Night vision works up to 20 metres via built-in IR LEDs, and the camera connects via 2.4GHz Wi-Fi as well as a wired RJ45 Ethernet port. Footage is stored locally on a microSD card up to 128GB, with no cloud costs or subscription.
Because the camera runs in the same app as the iSmartGate controller, no separate camera app is needed — control, status alerts and video come together in one place. Cam Outdoor can be combined with any iSmartGate kit (MINI, LITE or PRO) that supports camera integration.
Applications include driveways, main entrances and business premises where remote visual control alongside regular gate operation is desired.
