With a gate at a distance, a reliable status sensor is essential: without it, you're left guessing whether the gate is actually closed. The iSmartGate Wireless Contact Sensor detects open/closed status via a magnetic contact point and passes it directly to the iSmartGate app.
The sensor is waterproof and fully wireless, simplifying outdoor installation: no extra wiring to the controller is needed. Besides gate status, the sensor also measures ambient temperature and its own battery condition, so maintenance needs are clear in time.
The sensor communicates wirelessly at 2.4GHz with a range of up to 15 metres (50ft) to the iSmartGate controller, paired via a unique 4-digit code to prevent interference from other devices such as LED lighting or remote controls.
The contact sensor is specifically suited to roller gates and outdoor fences and works with the iSmartGate MINI, LITE and PRO kits. For sectional garage doors, the wireless tilt sensor is the better choice.
